MRM’s goal is to provide a refreshing look at the reef hobby and the industry that surrounds it. Our aim is to offer high quality technical articles as well as provide a broader look at what comprises our favorite pastime. We will focus on people that are making waves in the hobby both in the past and the present. Along with articles, we want to provide a showcase for artwork relating to the worlds reefs and oceans. We will also feature stories that we find entertaining that come to us from fellow reefers, and some of the exceptionally gifted writers will have monthly columns to express their views and showcase their craft.

As we are located in New York City we will be choosing tanks and members from our sister site manhattanreefs.com each month to share with you. If you haven't done so already, please sign up and partake in some of the stimulating forum discussions and warm community atmosphere. We’d love to see you there.

We hope our efforts at MRM will help contribute to the global reef keeping community. Our intention is to help move the hobby forward while keeping an eye on responsible and environmentally sound ways to do so.
